RAA/RCB MEETING MINUTES
OCTOBER 2008
7:00 PM Meeting Called to Order
Attending:
Wayne Dodson, Chuck Putnam, Amy Hitt, Clay Hunton, Howard Soaper, Melody Colvin, Becky Putnam, Kevin Walker, Coy Ferrell, Nancy Shuck, Josh Hitt, Brent Wilson, Brett Anderson
Absent Board Members: Craig Peters & Steve Smith
The Minutes from the Election were read, Nancy Motioned to approve, Josh 2nd, Motion Passed.
Treasurers report was given by Brent Wilson, Brent stated there was approximately 10K in the checking and money market combined. 3k was supposed to go for the drywall hanging & finishing.
Brett A. Gave a report on the the Ruritan Building and status:
Heat & Air is here Mark Fletcher to install
Drywall is here and supposed to be installed
Needs Roof Amy to talk to BOS to get money for that project
Insurance for equipment has lapsed and Amy to inquire about obtaining
Website Amy to update
Fence Brett & Sherwin Williams Manager to paint on Friday
Grind tank at stand put on hold Brett to talk to Wes
Equipment baseballs for next year Clay to work on that
Concession Melody to call Sophie to see if she will work the rest of the Fall Season
Umpires get $45 behind the plate $35. in the field Babe Ruth Minors & Majors $30.
Fields During the week Drag & hand rake the mounds send an email out
Brandon Thitchners grandmother Ann Marie to continue to mow for the fall
Fundraiser Battle of the bands 3 for Spring
Softball tourney' for Moms and dads
Dances for kids once building is done
50/50 raffle ticket doing now for 1000.00 $2.00 per ticket use the Dec 1st night time pick 3

Ben Adinolf request to play on Kevin's team for the remainder of the season. Board approved.
